Our floor installers are like magicians, you leave them with a pile of flooring and an empty room, and presto, your shabby floor is transformed.

Since 1984, our customers have counted on Creative Carpet for professional service, and unmatched choice and price-points. We offer flooring installation in our service area, including Framingham, Natick, Hopkinton, Holliston and Ashland.

Preparation for a flooring installation

Creative Carpet knows that having an installation done in your house is unsettling. We will schedule the installation at your convenience. Courtesy of our well-trained installers, we complete our work on schedule and on budget too. We pre-plan the installation with a layout diagram executed when your space was measured. This diagram notes the best placement of seams and joins. For carpet, it also includes how the nap should go. When setting tiles, the pattern and placement of cut tiles are worked out on the diagram.

Wood flooring needs special mention because it expands and contracts as temperature and humidity are in flux. To minimize this wood flooring is delivered early to the site so it can acclimate.

Things to keep in mind for a worry-free flooring installation

When it is complete, we walk through the installation with you for your approval, or to note any adjustments needed. The team at Creative Carpet considers an installation complete only when you are satisfied with your new flooring.

If you are ready to take your flooring to a new level, contact Creative Carpet today. We are ready to assist you in your flooring options and flooring installation project.

  • The installers need a work area adjacent to the installation.
  • Both the work and installation areas need access to water, lighting and power.
  • For safety, keep all pets and children away from the installation.
  • In cool areas, the temperature in the work and installation areas should be higher than 65 degrees.
  • You should plan to be on-hand during the installation; occasionally plans need to be tweaked and we need your permission to do so.
